Postgres

The Postgres database is a shared between both the old and new implementations. We are currently running version 9.1.13 on Ubuntu 12.04.

The Postgres database is the main data store for all relational data in the system. There are three physical servers in our Postgres solution, running in a master-slave-slave configuration. Two servers, ihpgdb.starpoint.com (master) and ihdb2.starpoint.com (slave) are in the New York server room. nj-dr1.starpoint.com (slave) is in the New Jersey server room to act as a disaster recovery server.
